Lake Tsivlou is located above the area of Akrata, at an altitude of 700 meters and is surrounded by Mount Helmos.<\/p>

It is a natural lake that was created in 1913 after a landslide blocked the bed of the river Krathis.<\/p>

Its name comes from the village of Tsivlos which is located at the bottom of the lake after the landslide.<\/p>

The lake is surrounded by a dense pine and fir forest and is a popular recreation destination.<\/p>

The feeling of supreme freedom, the enchanting images of Aegialia from above and the guarantee of the experts for a safe activity, are definitely the motivation for the less adventurous to try it. The two-seater flight with the instructor is ideal for those who are afraid or for those who want to fly and experience paragliding but cannot train for a solo paragliding.<\/p>

The Paragliding Club of Plagia Patras, as well as other clubs from all over Greece, often choose the beach of Pounta above the village of Bank, for the take-off. The take-off of Agia Triada, as it is known from the monastery of the same name in the area, is favored by the upward currents of the wind in front of the slope of the specific area.
